Ahri is countered by movement speed. Buying an early Mercury's Treads allows you to more easily dodge her charm, and dodge at least one half of her .

Champions with long range poke counter Ahri. This is because, without her , she cannot gap close and it requires a lot of mana for her to sustain in lane.

Ahri counters you if she can land her Charm, which will cause you to take 20% extra damage and be easy to hit with her . Counter Ahri's Charm by walking perpendicular to her.

When Ahri's orb turns green, it means she will heal on her next . This is Ahri's only form of sustain in lane. Counter Ahri by not letting her damage you while healing herself.

Ahri will try to the wave while it is walking and still in a straight line to maximize her damage and waveclear. This is a good opportunity to counter Ahri and deal some trade damage while her behavior is predictable.
