After Level 6, Mordekaiser is very difficult to gank. He can put any single target into his Death Realm to negate the point of a gank. Do not gank if his

Mordekaiser wins sustained duels due to the shield and heal on his . He builds shield for all the damage he deals and takes, and then can consume it for a heal. Counter Morde by taking quick trades.

Mordekaiser is countered by anti-heal. Mordekaiser wants to build AP items to take advantage of his built in Magic Pen and tank damage with his shield and heal. Reducing his healing is important to counter Mordekaiser's tankiness.
