Poke Pantheon from range, as he has poor poke. Pantheon's has low range, and Pantheon charged does 50% reduced damage if it passes through a minion, making it difficult for him to poke back.

Pantheon has no mobility. Ask for a gank if Pantheon is far up in the lane. Even though his negates damage, he will likely have to burn Flash to escape, reducing his ability to all-in you.

Pantheon's cooldown is almost double his cooldown. Base your all-in potential on if he uses , not . If Pantheon uses then in the last trade, then uses off cooldown, he will be very vulnerable and be unable to escape.

Farm safely and outscale Pantheon, as he is a strong early game champion. Avoid trading early in a losing matchup. If you are at low health, Pantheon can easily tower dive you.

Warn your allies if Pantheon is missing from lane, as he will look to use to roam.

Tell your jungler if Pantheon uses . The high cooldown at Level 1 means there is a big window where he will be vulnerable to a gank.
